For our client, email marketing is one of the key sales channels. However, the client faced numerous challenges and uncertainties regarding how to effectively obtain consent for marketing contact via email. One of the main issues was the use of overly long and confusing consent checkboxes, often filled with unnecessary legal references (e.g., names of statutes, journal of laws citations, etc.). As a result, the number of consents obtained was very low.
